How do we grow our plants?
Production of premium fruit is our passion. Legsad grows raspberry, blueberry, blackberry and cherry in harmony with nature.
start with seeds and seedlings
Excellent dishes consist of excellent ingredients. This rule is true for plants as well. Perfect seedlings are the healthy ones and give abundant harvest. Both plug plants and long canes in Legsad come from the top Dutch nurseries. We also cooperate with variety creators who perform highly advanced testing.

The trees and perennials which we grow in Legsad are very demanding. Thanks to support of agronomists and advisors, we are able to give them all they need throughout the season: regardless of whether it is water, minerals, protection against pests, air, temperature or soil in which they grow. To accomplish this, we use our own wells, fertigation, tunnels, covers and biological protection (instead of chemicals), among others.

In production, we follow natural processes – rooting, budding, blooming and pollination. Nature itself has found the best ways to make each of them come through, so our role is to protect them. Our local microclimate, which is conducive to the production of soft fruits, helps us in this. Warm and even hot summer days combined with cool nights give vigor to plants and fruit from Legsad with sweetness and wonderful aroma.

How do we grow our fruit?
As an expert in raspberry production in Poland, Legsad continually tests various cultivations to achieve the best results. Plug plants and long canes are planted in pots and soil – both in tunnels spreading over 40 hectares.
Our blackberry is cultivated in new tunnels, in soil on a total area of 2 hectares.
Our blueberry is cultivated in pots. It needs to grow enough to be replanted. The beginning of harvest is planned for 2022.
All our cherry trees grow under protective covers.
